LD Analytics helps Zimbabwean and regional organisations turn operational problems into data, BI, and AI systems their teams actually use. A decade in healthcare and telecoms — building systems now running in daily operations.
End-to-end engagements — from scoping the problem to a live, adopted system. No hand-off to a team that never ships.
Requirements gathering, process mapping, vendor management, UAT, and organisation-wide training. I've led enterprise ERP implementations from blank page to a system central to finance, clinical, and HR operations.
SQL data modeling, warehousing, dashboards, and audit controls that surface leakage, utilisation, and loss ratios — the numbers leadership decides on. Power BI and Python where each fits best.
Practical, production-grade AI — rule-based and LLM decision support built into real workflows. Systems that ship and get used, matched to the realities of the local operating environment.
No bloated teams, no endless discovery. One experienced pair of hands, accountable end to end.
I sit with your team, map the real process, and pin down where time, money, or accuracy is leaking. You get a clear picture and a scoped plan before any build starts.
I build the system — dashboard, data model, automation, or AI tool — in tight iterations, testing against your real data and workflow so it fits how your people actually work.
I train your team, document what was built, and make sure it keeps running after I leave. Adoption is the deliverable — not a report that gathers dust.
A sample of recent engagements — each live and in daily use. Walkthroughs available on request.
Directed EDI claims automation via the Health 263 switching platform — roughly 80% less manual processing, with duplicate claims down 15% through SQL-driven audit controls and stronger billing accuracy.
An internal decision-support tool that infers drug coverage from condition rules — a rule-based engine paired with an LLM, deployed into daily operations for faster, more consistent decisions.
An interactive dashboard on real managed-care claims data, backed by a normalised claims schema and a star-schema data warehouse — utilisation, loss ratios, and billing accuracy in one place.
LD Analytics is the practice of Leonard Dongo. For ten years I've worked at the intersection of strategy and technology across Zimbabwe's healthcare, medical-aid, and telecoms sectors — most recently leading enterprise ERP and EDI claims-automation at Alliance Health, work that cut manual processing by roughly 80% and reduced duplicate claims by 15%.
Before that I managed corporate medical-aid portfolios and enterprise accounts across government, banking, and corporate clients at TelOne, Zimbabwe's largest fixed-line telco. That grounding matters: I understand the local operating environment — from Health 263 and medical-aid workflows to the constraints regional organisations actually face.
I work remote-first with Zimbabwean and Southern African organisations, and I care about the unglamorous part of transformation: systems people adopt and keep using long after the engagement ends.
LD Analytics takes on a select number of engagements. Tell me what you're wrestling with — I'll tell you honestly whether and how I can help.
